Program Description
The Chicagoland Natural Gas Savings Program is designed to encourage eligible customers to install high efficiency, gas saving products by providing cash incentives, while educating customers about the benefits of energy efficiency.
Funded by ratepayers of Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas, the Program is guided by the Citizens Utility Board, City of Chicago, Environmental Law and Policy Center, Illinois Attorney General's Office, and Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas.
Homeowners, landlords and small business owners are eligible for rebates on energy efficient furnaces, boilers, water heaters, insulation and clothes washers purchased between now and October 31, 2009.
